Earth Hour Saudi Arabia ’10

March 23, 2010  |  Events

Turn off your machines for an hour next Saturday March 27th at 8:30pm local Saudi Time. This is the first year Saudi Arabia officially joins the “Earth Hour” move. I will be participating in “Earth Hour Riyadh 2010″ as well.

From Arab News: “Lights are expected to be switched off in major cities including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam from 8.30 to 9.30 in the evening. A number of government departments and private sector companies are also taking part.”

Make sure to register for the event on Facebook: Earth Hour Saudi Arabia 2010 – ساعة الأرض في السعودية ٢٠١٠. Also check this event specific for Earth Day Jeddah 2010.
