Dell Adamo is almost 2,000SR cheaper

July 24, 2009  |  News

The Adamo, Dell’s solution for the Apple Macbook Air, had a massive price drop of up to $499 (1,900SR). The price cut was to compete with the MacBook Air.

The “1.2GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD” model cost $1,500 (5,700SR) and the “1.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor, a 128GB SSD, and 4GB RAM” will be for $2,230 (8,500SR). These are significant price changes and we have no idea when will it be applied in Saudi Arabia.

  1. Did you get to see Acer’s Ferrari One which is offered at Extra @ 2,090 SAR?

It is a dual core AMD (oh, got to love it) on the latest mobile m780g chipset, with XGP port for external graphic processing. Win 7 Home premium. 3GB RAM & 320 GB HDD.

All this processing done in a netbook size! 5 hours of battery life. Few youtubers had posted how the inbuilt HD 3200 graphics performed.

From another site learned that AMD/ATi will offer an external 5xxx card through the XGP port. That speaks about supporting up to 3 external monitors by this small babe.
