Anime News Network (www.animenewsnetwork.com), a very popular Anime news website was suddenly blocked in Saudi Arabia sometime last week according to @Shinryoma.
Anime News Network was never blocked in the country. Anime is not porn, CITC.
Update: Thanks @Turke and @Missice81 for telling me this. Manga Fox ( www.mangafox.com ) a Manga source, as been blocked as well! What’s next? One Manga? Manga Stream?

i also aend about 9 unblock forms to unblock the site but i didnt get any answer from them and i think the people how work there are not knowing what is bad from good and also i think they block any site has words like anime girls and so on so i think they dont know good from bad and that’s why people use program’s and proxy to open these sites and also most of the site’s that have anime are not bad but what i think that the people at the internet they are liers and will not do a thing and i think there all are from the uneducated peopl and as loyal as dogs to there supervisor.

Sigh, I wish only certain parts of the site were blocked. You know like what they do on sites like YouTube (hey, it’s better than nothing).

My favorite sites keep getting blocked. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/ recently got blocked (a few days ago?) I really don’t know why.
And http://www.pixiv.net/ (a Japanese art site) got blocked a while back. I wish only certain tags could get blocked instead of the whole thing or something. ;n;
